Overview
Perfect for complete beginners, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the essential materials and techniques needed to start crocheting with confidence. You’ll learn the basic stitches and crochet terminology before creating a traditional granny square – one of the most versatile and recognisable crochet patterns.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll discover how to continue your granny square independently and explore how this simple motif can be developed into a variety of larger projects, including scarves, blankets, and interconnected granny square designs. Working in a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll build confidence while developing a skill that can be enjoyed for years to come.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have completed your first granny square, gained a solid foundation in the basics of crochet, and left with the knowledge and inspiration to continue creating your own handmade crochet projects at home.
