Bundle Dyeing on Textiles

During this workshop you will explore the technique of bundle dyeing using flowers, leaves and some additional materials to be steamed. You will also discover how to make imprints and transfer beautiful colours onto a sample of silk fabric.

Each bundle dyeing will be unique, and the pattern will depend on the way the dye stuff will be positioned and treated: all this will be covered during this class as an introduction to natural bundle dyeing and you will bring home a very special and one of a kind piece of textile that you have created during the session.

Please note that all the materials used in this class are natural and the silk used is peace silk (harvested respectfully without harming the silk worms).
