Overview

Join experienced sewing tutor Beverley Landreth-Smith for this engaging 6-week machine sewing improvers course, designed to help you build on your existing skills and tackle more ambitious sewing projects with confidence.

Ideal for those who have completed a beginners’ sewing course or already have a basic understanding of machine sewing, this practical course will develop your knowledge of sewing techniques, garment construction, and finishing methods. With expert guidance from Bev, you’ll refine your accuracy, improve your confidence using a sewing machine, and learn new skills that can be applied to a wide range of creative sewing projects.

Working at your own pace in a supportive and friendly environment, you’ll receive individual guidance as you progress through your chosen project. Learners will need to bring their own sewing machine to each session and source a suitable pattern for the item they wish to make.

By the end of the course, you’ll have strengthened your sewing skills, increased your confidence in using patterns and techniques, and completed a project that reflects your growing ability and creativity.
