Overview
Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with our beautiful Spring Flower Workshop at the Orida Hotel, Newbury.
Enjoy a relaxed and creative afternoon that begins with expert floral tips and guidance from our professional floristry tutor. Each guest will create one individual spring floral arrangement to take home — one booking space includes one arrangement.
Price includes (per person):
All flowers and materials for one arrangement & free parking at the venue
Children aged 8+ are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Please note that each participant requires their own booked space in order to make an arrangement, making this a wonderful activity to enjoy together.
This workshop is ideal to enjoy with your mum, as a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift, or as a shared experience with someone special.

Course requirements
- we can sometimes accept minors if accompanied by an adult, for this workshop we accept 8+ but for everyone under the age of 19, their parent/carer will need to fill out an enrolment form. please contact us at enquiries@creative-communities.org.uk if you would like to discuss bringing a young person with you.
Useful information
- Orida is based just off J13 of the M4, near Chieveley services where the old Hilton hotel used to be. There is a large carpark on site, parking is free to students, you are just required to log your registration number at reception upon arrival. There is a Starbucks café on site, along with a bar which is open until 11.30pm. There is also a restaurant on site, and all Creative Communities students will be entitled to a 10% discount on food. The hotel also has a gym and a pool which is available for students to use, should they wish, please ask at reception for details and let them know you are a Creative Communities student.Â
Concessions and discounts
This course is part funded by West Berkshire Council and therefore, the following concessions apply.
- If you are aged over 60 and living within the West Berkshire catchment area, you are eligible for a 30% reduction of course fees.
- If you are in receipt of a means tested benefit at the time of enrolment, you are eligible for a 50% reduction in course fees. Learners will be required to submit evidence of their benefit at the time of enrolment, for the reduction to be applied. Evidence includes only official letters/ documentation, dated within 3 months of enrolment.
Cancellation policy
- If you are unable to attend the course, we require a minimum of 10 working days’ notice before the start of the course in order to receive a refund. Admin fees may apply. You will also have the opportunity to transfer your fees to another course.
- If Creative Communities are forced to cancel the course due to low enrolment numbers, you will be notified immediately and issued with a full refund, or the option to transfer your course fees to another course.
