Steam-Fix Silk Painting

An introduction to steam-fix silk painting, looking at steam-fix dyes.

This workshop is suitable for those with some experience in silk painting and is a great follow-on session for those who have attended the ‘Iron-fix silk Painting’ workshop however you do not need to have completed this workshop before enrolling. 

The workshop will include an introduction to steam-fix dyes, experimenting with a variety of techniques including adding water, salt & alcohol to the dyes. Learners will leave the workshop with a completed silk painting project.

This is a wonderful opportunity to discover a fascinating new craft under the guidance of a professional working silk painter and crafter.
