Overview
Join experienced florist and tutor Kim Harrison for this inspiring 4-week Summer Wedding Flowers course, where you’ll learn how to create beautiful, professional-looking floral designs for a wedding celebration.
Ideal for anyone planning to arrange flowers for a family member, friend, or their own special day, this practical course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some flower arranging experience. Throughout the four weeks, you’ll learn how to select and order seasonal flowers to suit your budget, while discovering how to create versatile floral arrangements that can be used during the ceremony and repurposed for the wedding reception.
Before the course begins, Kim will contact participants to discuss the types of wedding flowers they’d most like to create, allowing the sessions to be tailored to the interests of the group. Whether you’d like to master bouquets, buttonholes, table centrepieces, or ceremony arrangements, you’ll receive expert guidance and practical techniques to help bring your floral ideas to life.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence, skills, and knowledge to plan and create beautiful wedding flowers using seasonal blooms, along with practical tips to achieve stunning results while making the most of your budget.

- All flowers, materials and equipment are provided and included in the course fee.
Useful information
- There is a large, free car park on site outside the village hall.
- The course will take place in the smaller hall off to your right as your come through the main doors.
Course requirements
All participants must be over 19 years old, we can sometimes accept minors if accompanied by an adult, please contact us at enquiries@creative-communities.org.uk if you would like to discuss bringing a young person with you.
Cancellation policy
- If you are unable to attend the course, we require a minimum of 10 working days’ notice before the start of the course in order to receive a refund. Admin fees may apply. You will also have the opportunity to transfer your fees to another course.
- If Creative Communities are forced to cancel the course due to low enrolment numbers, you will be notified immediately and issued with a full refund, or the option to transfer your course fees to another course.
