Eco Conscious and Sustainable Art
This course has been created to explore art in a relaxing, simple way; connecting, observing and recording nature by making and using natural materials for simple and mindful projects that you will start during the weekly class and expand at home in your own time.
During these sessions you will have the opportunity to notice nature and natural elements and sketch, draw, print, mark making applying various techniques and media and experiment with various materials as well as making your own mark making tools and natural inks to use on your sketchbook.
The ethos of this course is to slow down, connect with nature and notice natural elements that will lead you to create mindful and meaningful projects and, perhaps, starting Nature Journaling, that you can develop and expand in a unique and personal way and use as a reference for your own art projects and artwork.
The aim of this course is to re connect with nature and, through your own creativity and art, to improve wellbeing.
Every week we will have a theme to use as a starting point and at the end of the course you will have a sketchbook illustrating various projects and samples of different techniques as well as natural and re purposed tools for mark making.
Is advised to bring an apron.
