Winter Ink Making
This workshop involves exploring and learning about natural drawing inks and how to make them from botanical sources.
During this class you will discover the principles, theory, techniques and recipes for natural botanical inks. Over the course of the day you will follow the various stages for making your own drawing inks, achieving different colours in an Autumnal and Winter palette.
These colours will be used in class to create swatches on paper and to practice some mark making with tools made of natural materials: this will form a starting point and reference logbook that students can use for further developments and future art projects on their own.

Please note: during this workshop we may use walnut husks that could be unsuitable for people with nut allergies.
